PAINTINGS

Working predominantly in oil paint the painter covers a range of subjects including still lives, portraits and landscapes. Richly encrusted surfaces characterise his detailed observations of familiar people and scenes. These paintings, often on a small scale, are rooted in the great tradition of English landscape painting and portraiture. The canvases provide a personal record of the painter’s life.
